About

I am currently the co-founder and president of Bionerds. Bionerds offer Biology hands-on workshops for students from K-8th graders. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Medical Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach. Then, I continued my academic journey to earn a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the University of California, Irvine. I co-authored several publications related to the field. I have more than 16 years of experiences combined in pharmaceuticals, academic research, and the manufacturing departments.

Personal Interests

I like to spend my time with my family and friends, travel, hike, gardening and scrapbooking.
