About

I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian since I was in fourth grade. I majored in Neurobiology at UCI, then worked various jobs at veterinary hospitals for a couple of years to see what clinical practice was actually like. I completed one year of my Master’s degree at UCLA in Physiological Science before I was accepted into veterinary school, which I attended in Canada (Ontario Veterinary College). I then went through a one-year rotating internship in Connecticut, and since then have worked as a veterinary associate and a relief/locum veterinarian; and I just opened my own animal hospital with a veterinarian friend of mine in June 2018. As with any career veterinary medicine has its ups and downs, but I love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

Personal Interests

I love traveling, trying new restaurants, baking, watching movies, biking, and spending time with my friends and family. I live in Irvine with my awesome husband, whom I met while at UCI, our adorable 10-month-old son, and two wonderful kitties.
