About
I’m a pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory consultant for companies in the Bay Area/West coast. Shortly after graduating with my BS in Biology at UCI, I started working in the clinical research area at UC Irvine for the next 5 years. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Research/Regulatory Affairs at George Washington University. This led me to continue work in the biotech space for the past 18 years in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and in the San Diego areas in clinical research/pharmaceutical development. Companies I’ve worked for included Amgen, Elan, Genentech, and small/medium biotech companies. I have worked with regulatory health agencies including the US FDA and international regulatory health agencies around the world. A career in regulatory affairs is challenging and a great career path for those thinking about their next move after obtaining an advanced degree. I’ve also been an adjunct instructor at GWU for graduate studies in Regulatory Affairs. If you’re thinking of an alternative career path which involves both science and contributing to making a difference in healthcare or patients, l’d love to be your mentor!
Personal Interests
In my free time, I spend it with family. I have 2 kids and I am fortunate to work full-time from home where I am completely remote (even prepandemic). I love what I do and being able to raise a family at the same time. I love swimming and I hope to go back to being a competitive swimmer on a Masters team someday.
