Chris Noriega


I am a microbiologist applying enzymatic and synthetic biology work for the food and flavor industry. I initially started as an entry level scientist in the biofuels industry and was eventually promoted as a senior scientist (now in the food industry) managing a small team of research associates and scientists. My career aspirations is to become a research director.

Personal Interests

I enjoy reading non-fiction books (biographies/science related). For physical activity, I enjoy surfing 2-4 times per week. The rest of my time outside of work is spent with my family.
