Join us for the return of BioSci’s quarterly Donuts with the Dean!
Please join us on Tuesday, October 4 from 4 – 5 p.m. on the 5th Floor of Natural Sciences II. You’ll have an opportunity to meet BioSci Dean Frank LaFerla and hear from our guest speaker, Mike Aguiar. Afterwards, enjoy a donut and fruit, while talking to the Dean, other BioSci students and your professors.About the Speaker: Mike Aguiar graduated from UCI BioSci in 1988 with a degree in Biology. He first worked in the construction industry but realized he was not on the right career track. His penchant for numbers led him to earn an MBA from the University of Michigan. He then transitioned into financial roles in the biotech industry, becoming a successful bio-pharmaceutical executive. Each quarter we have different guests join us, so even if you have attended Donuts with the Dean before, this is your opportunity to meet experts who can share their experiences, insights, and career opportunities in the field of biology!
